Posts: 97 Brighton, Colorado | I'm looking for some input from any Canadian Vision riders. I'm interested in the REWACO RF1 trike that is sold out of Germany. The USA distributor has gone down the tubes (was located in Las Vegas Nevada). The closest distributor of these bikes is located in Chilliweck, British Columbia. Has ANYONE, or do you know of ANYONE who has been there and checked these bikes out? I'm located in Colorado and have NO idea as to exactly where this company is and/or what it's about. I certainly want to have a first hand look and possibly a test ride, but need to know if it's WAY too much trouble to do so. I realize it's NOT a Vision, but I'm gettin' up there in years, and at some point, I'm going to have to do the "trike" path. This bike has always interested me and now I'm at a loss, so I need your help.
Thanks |

Posts: 97 Brighton, Colorado | Golph boy: THANKS!!!!!!!! I wasn't aware of this one. I'll be sure to check it out. Got an excuse now to head to Canada to "look at the scenery."
Crawford: I'm aware of the T-REX. Have done WAY more research on it than I should have. Actually, there's a dealer here in Colorado. Haven't contacted him yet, because I don't have the zililion dollars it takes to buy one. The T-rex is probably my first choice, with the Rewaco being the second. The "throttle boss" has to feel comfortable, so whatever she says........
Thanks guys for taking the time to help me out. It's very much appreciated.

Posts: 340 Regina Saskatchewan Canada | How about the V13R made by the same company for about $10,000CDN less. It uses the HD V-Rod engine producing 125hp. I know they are very pricey and I would love to have one. They aren't even legal in Ontario, not sure about Saskatchewan or any of the other provinces. |

Posts: 97 Brighton, Colorado | Crawford: Yeah. Been lookin' at the V13R too. Not sure about the styling. Also not sure about the V-rod motor. (must be a harley thing I don't want to get involved with). I'll look at it more closely. I didn't see the video until now, regarding US compliance in 49 states. Works for me. Thanks for the suggestion. I'll add it to my "list."
Kenandpen: ANOTHER great idea. would like to see it on a Vision though. I bookmarked the site anyway.
I knew at some point in time, CANADA would come through!!!! I've heard prices are insane up there for the same product down here. Will have to find a way to work around that problem.
Again, thanks guys! |
