I ride in the 2,700-3,100 RPM range. I feel lots of surging in the 1st-3rd gears. The only way I can describe it is you are cruising along and there is some good smooth power, now its gone, its back, its gone, its back, its gone, etc....My Honda's & Kawasaki's have never done this. This is with the throttle in the exact same position, same RPM. I have had every service done at every interval. I don't think there is anything wrong outside of what Victory put out.
If I installed Lloyd's diffuser & the VFC III, would this dissapear? Is this an EPA thing? I don't ever go above 4,000 RPM, and I am keeping stock pipes (Level 0, stage 0 ?).
If this would be a good thing for me, who is having a 4th of July sale?
Thank you, Herb

Adding a reprogramming device that recommends disabling the O2 sensors may help with your surging.

Ultimately I followed the service manual steps to zero the cruise control to fix it. | |

| Yes the VFC lll will cure surging at the lower speeds. You don't have to do any thing else with it if you want to keep your stock exhaust.
