Posts: 70 Tucker, Ga. | I've added several lil things to my 10th. Chrome trim around the mirrors, blind spot mirrors, leg wind deflectors, chrome covers for rear master cylinder, chrome covers for engine mounts, rubber toe protectors, 2" taller windshield (though quickly you can't tell the difference), chrome oil dipstick with temp gauge at top, utopia back rest, cushions from buttbuffers, front cup holder & chrome rear cup holder, chrome luggage rack on trunk, throttle rockets palm pads for both left & right side, & some other small stuff inside of trunk & front compartment. Most things, but not all were ideas I borrowed from TimS. If you look for him he has links to a lot of this stuff.

Posts: 8144 New Bohemia, VA | very nice AC. I've got a pack of 4 traffic cones. I'm going to use them to practise dodging idiots on I-95. I really like the seat covers, it give me the idea to find some in Midnight Cherry. Very nice accent. Personnally, I would nix the cup holder, makes it look wingish. Sorry, just me, I had one on the wing and I would rather stop and get an ICE COLD drink from the cooler. I don't do coffee on the bike either. Sorry, but aside from that, that is one cherry lookin' Vision. |

| Where did you get the rear cup holder from?
The wife really wants one.
What do you think of the backrest?
Did you cut the seat or did someone else do it? |

Posts: 70 Tucker, Ga. | I got the rear cup holder from Kruzerkaddy.net, you will need to use a grinder to turn the inside of the clamp from a circle to more of a diamond in order to get it to fit those grab handles. Yes, forgot to mention my nifty cone! The back rest rocks! I love it & I actually cut the seat myself. It was pretty easy though making yourself plung a knife into that seat was harder. I used a video on youtube as my instructor. Utopia Backrest Installation - Victory Vision. That's the full title of the vid. I just ordered a quick disconnect from utopia which they don't tell you exists when you order the back rest. Will come in handy if you put anyone larger than a child or Paris Hilton! |

Posts: 460 Centennial, CO | LMAO! I thought you worked for comcast cable here in Denver. They require a cone at ANY place that their vehicle is parked INCLUDING parking lots. STUPID! Like a CONE is going to stop someone from backing into them. HELLO?!
Great additions. I am curious about the front compartment. What did you add and why? I added the two net holder that mounts to the very back of the trunk. It is VERY handy. I recommend it. I would NOT recommend the internal nets for the side bags. I NEVER use them. Actually I took them off and left two nice hold on each bag for bugs to have a place to live. Whoop whoop! |

Posts: 70 Tucker, Ga. | Yeah, I have those net pockets in the trunk as well. Very useful! I also put a duel outlet in the trunk as well as the mirror. Those are both also VERY useful! In the front compartment I only added a single power outlet. Also it came with an ipod connection so I have my ipod nanu 3rd g in there with an adapter piece I got on line which allows the bike to charge the ipod also. What you don't realize is that I have another cone on the other side of the bike!

Posts: 70 Tucker, Ga. | there was somebody on this site that took that trunk mirror & put hinges on it so he could pull it down & store stuff behind it. I can't remember who that was but I would very much like to do that! |

Posts: 70 Tucker, Ga. | By the way varyder, I give you complete credit for the AC abbreviation! I got the seat covers from buttbuffers.com, they do appear to have midnight cherry but you would have to see if its dark enough for ya.

Posts: 70 Tucker, Ga. | yes, it is polymer but feels & acts very much like gel. Very comfortable. When you squeeze it it feels like gel the way it squishes in your fingers but if you happen to cut it it won't leak out. I had them custom make me a rear one with a horseshoe notch cut into the front end to go around the post of the backrest. Both front & rear are the large size & it fits perfectly.I definitely recommend the large size if you have the victory tour any edition!
here's a number for them. Ask for Peter:

Posts: 1158 Richmond, Virginia | Angel white boy. You DONT have the Driver chrome foot boards. I suspect by weekends end, you will have signed up for a 12 step program to compensate for the non OEM color cones...... You definately need to get the chrome floorboards,,,,, I hear VisionTex will even buy them for you... With regards to the seat cushioning I suspect there is already a lot of squishy feeling butts
on this site not needing any more squish. Tell us about the lighting array big guy! |

Posts: 70 Tucker, Ga. | wow! ok. I thought you were talkin about the passenger floorboards but either way I am interested. Where do I find these or at least get some pics? I wish they had Victory cones jus so I could complete my journey into full douchedom! I do love these cushions, very comfy. Are you talkin bout the L.E.D.'s? A friend of mine put those on & I chose blue to match the instrument panel. At night it looks so beautiful, especially as you ride down the road. Your legs & feet are lit up & though I don't have a pic of it (which I will rectify tonight), down inside the huge hole where the handlebars go (what is the walls of the gas tank), I have lights that light that whole area up. It looks great but I never realized that I never took a pic of that angle.
I am very interested in these chrome floorboards.
You are very funny with this 12 step shit. I love that people on here can make me laugh. Angel white boy is pretty good too. I'm sooo sorry for the embarrassment that I have caused the Victory community. Where is a Muslim terrorist with a machete when you need him?
does the Va stand for Virginia? Cuz I'm from there. |

Posts: 70 Tucker, Ga. | Well, they are technically illegal everywhere cuz blue is considered one of the emergency colors. I grew up in Fredericksburg, Va. & the cops up there are assholes. I once got a ticket there for having one of those license plate borders that had firebird in red lights at the bottom. Now this was at the same time that the Pontiac Fierros had Pontiac built in to the rear end that lit up red. Somehow that was much different than my plate border. But If you have em on your bike you gotta ride with them on!!!!!!!!!!! The cops in Ga. don't bother me much, most tell me they love the way it looks. As long as you don't have them strobe like some idiots do, they don't mess with you much.
If you put em on your bike but only turn them on when your tryin to impress your friends then you must attend the varyder 12 step program! |
