varyder,

Thanks,

Did I actually post those words? If I did, my English skills are really going South!

I could see me write:

WARNING!
If you do not like meeting new people and answering questions every time you stop, please do not purchase a Victory Vision.

When looking in the forums on other sites I am amazed when I find Victory owners bash the Vision.

dude, I got carried away with the moment. You posted something to that effect in many more words on the other site. I'm from Virginie, and we used the king's english..

varyder,

My college English teacher would kick my butt if I messed up a paper.

Of course he was also my Karate instructor two nights a week, so when I say he would beat me up I really mean it literally. We were friends from Karate and he told me one day, "Take my English class and I will teach you to write." so I did. It was the best class I ever took. I shudder to think how different my life would have been with out that crazy man teaching English.

He was a great instructor. A real teacher. I hated to write and my writing really sucked. After his class, I still hated to write but I could at least make myself understood in the written word.

Have a good one and Ride Safe.

Chris writes well. Just needs more words than some. Good thing someone taught him qwerty.

the two most important documents I carry:

  1. Voter registration card
  2. Drivers license

The single most important accomplishment

  • Learning to type

I took typing in highschool and hated it. I skipped so much that I had to have my mother come in with me to get it dropped. However, 6 years later, after joining the Army, I learned to type and realized in a world of reports, evaluations, communicating and other endeavors how it benefits and translates to better things.

English has never been my forte, and I've never been able to get my brain fully connected between the fingers and the eyes. I won't see things right and even after proofing it I will not see my mistake until it is published, as in the label above.

In taking all my writing courses has only taught me to write better than some, but I'm a long way off from being perfect. I used to have very bloody papers from red pen correctins. I only passed an english college class on writing only after I would rewrite it about 20-25 times, though I never really understood the mechanics, I just knew it looked righter.

I've also learned to but more words in to say what I mean then have to go back and explain later. If the other words are useless, it is easier to take them out then it is to put them in.

somebody take this keyboard away from me............

Guys you are having too much fun with this...

VaParadox,

On the questions answered shirt, could you add a price list. I could always use a cold drink, a nice meal or a tank of gas.
