On my way back from the AVR on Saturday my self and three other riders ran into rain about 130 miles from home but nothing I haven't ridden in before. About 20 miles from home we split up and a mile later it started raining so hard Noah would have been jealous. I had to stop several times under bridges to wipe the rain from behind my goggles and several times had to pull over because I simply could not see the highway.

I finely wised up and got off and waited for it to let up. After about 30 minutes I started out again and the rain started up again and just as I entered a construction area it started raining hard but this time no place to pull off. Without ever see it the rain had flooded the highway and I went from 30 mph to 0 in about 30ft. The Vision never faulted just came to an abrupt stop with a stalled engine, when I put my feet down I was standing in about a foot of water after getting the engine restarted I got it into 1st gear and carefully rode out without getting creamed from behind. I shake every time I think about what could have happened if the old girl hadn't of stayed upright.

Next time there is rain in the forcast i just might stay home.

Blackjack,

My left flipper gets in the way when I try to shift and the SCUBA tanks interfere with my backrest.

I am glad she stayed upright and started back up.

It is really a mess in San Antonio when it rains. It is not uncommon to have 8 inches or more on the roads in my area. Of course, we have not had jack for rain in so long that the palm trees and cactus are dying.

Ride Safe.
