My odometer as of today reads 3303.
However I had the instrument cluster replaced ( under extend warranty, thank god!) at about 47k.
The instrument cluster was somehow draining the battery.
I was off the bike for over a month while the dealer in Bakersfield California diagnosed and haggled with Victory to cover the cost the instrument cluster, front fork seals and header pipe that developed a crack.
In the end all was covered. I do recommend that extend warranty!
It looks like varyder is destined to be the mileage king. |

Posts: 725 Reno County, KS | Hey "Visionaut", you gonna be the first to wear out a Vision? Just think of this. You've probably got more experience on a Vision than the entire collective of Visioneers put together! Good for you!. We outta get rid of this posting merit system on Vision-riders and replace it with a proven milage merit record. Of course you'd have to devote some of your time to moderation... |

Posts: 3204 Memphis | Chris, my oldest son and his wife just moved from Mass to the D.C. area. Will have to hook up when I ride up to visit them. Mark, I thought you had been pretty quiet. Glad you're back in the saddle! People around me are amazed at my 30K and I tell them I'm one of the lightweights in the Vision world! |

RT - it looks like my Texas trip is out for this year... maybe. The last two years it was a thought that turned into a last minute thing, but this year, too many other things going on. But definetly I'll let you know if I come your way. Texas is such a great place to ride.
SF - give me a shout and let me know.
Markh - when did you get your vision.
BTW all, I think there are a few others out there that are well over 70K and even a 100K. I don't think they have any time for the forum... |

265,300 miles just from what I can find and total on this page.
there is a reason, i call you Valongdistanceryder, now we know. Might change it to ValuvmyVisionSeatRyder. Victory should be sending out new gifts to all of those over 50k.
Congrats, I know you can't wait to rack the miles up, what is the next milestone you are gunning for. What magic number will your camera capture. |

Posts: 8144 New Bohemia, VA | I was hoping 60K by the Nov. 17, but I'll be about 3k shy unless I run to Texas, which is not in my plans this year.
Last year as you may recall, I was on my way back on the anniversary day and hit 30K while pumping a near 1k ride to Memphis in 18 hours. I never understood why you guys in Memphis wouldn't come out and meet a fellow Vision rider at 2:00 am on a Monday morning?
Riding to Texas in November is not bad, but coming home was a bear, especially with the snow in N.C after a lonely ride on the Dragon after nightfall. I certainly live by my sig line... |

Posts: 849 , FL United States | I got my Vis the same day Chris got his and I'm WAY behind him on mileage but 29436 ain't too shabby for an old guy who retired to ride
(i'm definitely NOT an Iron Butt rider - i wear out after 8 hours in the saddle - as Laura & my "little ride" from Billings to Yellowstone to see Old Faithful and back in 1 day showed. We left billings at 6:30 AM and returned to the campground a little after 11 PM. Took me a couple of days driving the truck/toy hauler to get over that ride). |

Posts: 8144 New Bohemia, VA | chl - 29,436 is nothing to sneeze out for 21 months dude! it's like this, you carry yours in a toy hauler and still can put on over a grand a month is an accomplishment. i can see you put in many 8 hour day sadle time, while i was chairborne in a cubicle... |

| Congrats on the milestone VA, that's pretty cool if its the first time hitting that mileage on a bike, particularly in just under 2 years, congrats. Mine unfortunately gets parked for 5 months each year due to the snowfall, but I've managed to plug off a measly 21k in the 15 months I've owned her. Ride safe and I look forward to seeing the 100k post |

Posts: 495 Carrollton, TX | Way to go Chris!! I am trying to catch you but I have to work way to many hours but I still have 36,800 miles in 17 months and I will be doing a 5,000 mile trip in just over 2 weeks. I can't wait. I should hit at least 50,000 miles within 24 months but I thought I would be at 60,000 miles by then. Every mile just gets better on a Vision! The time I have spent in the Vision saddle are about the best hours I have spent on earth. I am sooooo thankful and blessed. |

We do measure in miles, In this case the "k" in 50k does not mean kilometers, it means "thousand" as in 50 thousand miles. |

Posts: 1484 LaPorte,Tx. | Hey Chris way to go, 50K and everything that went with it, from talking to us about your bike to working on the bike in that little building doing your own maintenance. I think I remember you even had a little fender bender, all a memory for you. With all that said, I'm sure your throwing your leg over that seat tomorrow for a few more miles...and then smile and feel content there will be no problem to do another 50k. Take care.
Hey, next Texas ride, spent a little more time... |

I've heard there are higher in less time, so it is no record by any means, I've not met these people either, just heard about them. I think the bums on bikes hold the mileage record so far in the shortest period of time.
50K = 50,000 miles, I have a habit of using the k to sig 1,000 (miles, not kilometers) when it comes using it for miles it is confusing to those above and below the border and across the pond from Va. so for the record, it is 50,000 miles. if it was 50,000 kilometers it would only be about 31,000 miles.
enough of the math lesson, time for recess. GET ON YOUR BIKES AND RIDE! |
