| watching the LL Series.
Emotion, grit, determination, competition, the will to win, the sportsmanship....can't beat it.
But lately I've also taken to watching college women's softball...must be because I have three grand-daughters that will need coaching in the not-to-distant future.
I have a very good friend who was the manager on the Chesterfield, Indiana, team that made it several years back and he still talks about it today.

San Antonio will play the winner of tomorrows game between Warner Robins, Georgia and Chula Vista, California.
I love the patch they have on every players left sleeve. "I WONT CHEAT!"

| I hated the way some of their players cock their hats sideways.
Respect the game kids. |

Good luck to the San Antonio team. We will be watching from Canada.
Just to keep on topic, we are sure you rode the Vision to the game after washing it with soft, warm water. |

Posts: 3006 San Antonio, TX | Ken and Penny,
San Antonio lost last night in the US championship game to Chula Vista, California and they will play Reynosa Mexico for the consolation game at 10 AM Central time today. It was a great run.
In the US there are about 17,000 teams that start out for the Little League World Series (LLWS) and San Antonio came in second in the US. It was truly an honor since the kids were the first team to ever go from San Antonio to the LLWS.
Everyone in San Antonio is proud for this team and what they have done. There will be a big party at the airport tomorrow night at 8:00 PM when their plane arrives and next Sunday the team will honored with a river parade downtown. We love to party in San Antonio and this is as good of a reason to have party as any other.
Smitty,
Since your post, I have been watching for players with cocked hats and I did not see any on any team over the past week. What I did see was that after the rain kids were being kids by sliding down a mud covered hill covered from head to toe in mud and muck wearing huge grins! What a great picture that makes.

Posts: 3006 San Antonio, TX | Congratulations to Chula Vista, California who won the Little League World Series (LLWS).
I must mention that San Antonio was the only team to ever beat Chula Vista, California this year.
I am sad to report that my boys from San Antonio lost to Reynosa Mexico for the consolation game. Come on home boys, we have two parties waiting for you when you get here!
All in all is was a great set of games that were played very well. A lot of home runs and double plays.
