Reno County, KS | Do not know exact Db difference is but would guess about 10 Db max side by side. The LVL.2 is not a loud exhaust. The real difference is centered around airflow tuning with the byproduct of being slightly louder. There are cheaper alternatives for louder exhaust; much cheaper than LVL.2 if you are looking for a louder exhaust. Basically you'll only be better off spending a lot more up front for the LVL2 for performance. Better off saving the $ if you don't plan on putting a lot more in the motor. Take a good listen of the two on the videos to see if they'll provide enough "umph" for your taste. The LVL.2 also has removable baffles but you will be sacrificing some power; especially if you invest in a lot of add-ons. I just replaced my baffles for the extra power as advised by a well known wrench on this forum. I seem to have a little extra felt torque but it took the addition of warmer cams to make the difference.
