Posts: 52 San Jose, CA | Been lurking for a year and learned a lot. Particularly in the past month.
Anyhow, just picked it up today so I wanted to make sure I said thanks as all your posts contributed to my decision.
I look forward to contributing as well.

Posts: 52 San Jose, CA | Sorry, been giving the kids a shower, piano practice and of course in the garage modding it.
Bought it at Arlen Ness in Dublin. 2009 Black Vision Tour Premium. Ness Honkers and 2 air filters and Big shot. Ness lowered 1" (where they cut into the side bags and not actually cut the spring), black rear tip overs, black lower rear valance, black front fender bottom thingy, black gauge bezel.
I'm currently trying to do the mod where if you hit the breaks and are signaling, the all the break lights light up.
Much more to tell, let me spend some time with the bike!
By the way, Kevin Ness and Bob Rubino at Arlen Ness were great and I recommend them to anyone. Very patient with me over the past month with my ton of questions, etc. Very knowledgeable, nice, etc you name it.
By the way, I'm coming over from a VTX1300 and an FJR 1300AE.

Posts: 3204 Memphis | I see a trend. TopFuel traded in a Suzuki Boulevard 1500 and Concours 14 for his Vision. Those are all nice bikes but you won't believe the level of attention you will get on the Vision. It will be more than both previous bikes combined. Welcome aboard. Let's see some pics!

I've already experienced on the 1 hour ride back today from Dublin and also running errands around town. Have to be more careful. Cars speeding up, slowing down to pull up next to me to give me the thumbs up.
Pulled over under a tree near a park at one point as I was half hour early to a client meeting and I had a ton of attention.
The handling is awesome (this coming from a guy who loved his sport tourer), it really is a great bike.
Pictures to come some time, I have a feeling I'm going to be busy putting miles on it (more than my normal commuting miles).

I met Bob Rubino this year at Sturgis, he was there with the Ness display. Really nice person and like you said very knowledgeable. Enjoy your new Vision.
