I just finished painting the rear belt guard, the X over pipe and the lower rightside floor board (they are gray) black to continue with my Black with some chrome theme. I am always picky on how the bike looks parked on the K stand. WTF is that clamp bolt doing just sitting there like a pimple?? Has anyone come up with a chrome cap for this? Thanks for any suggestions.

I had chrome acorn nuts on my Kingpin which I believe is the same size clamp bolt. These were sold by Victory in pairs for their cruiser bikes. I got them in 04, don't know if they still have, you may want to check with dealer or catalog. I'm sure there are after market outlets for this size chrome nut also. Good luck with your search.

Home Depot, Lowes, or Brofasco if you have it in the States. Any specialty nut and bolt store should have something to cover it.

Um....I'm pretty sure you can loosen the clamp and rotate it so that the nut can't be seen.

Nut saying it can't be done, I think some other problem occurs if you rotate. otherwise I would have rotatered mine when i put it all back together. when i got done i looked at the bike and said "Nut".

But who am i? I'll have to look again it again to see whatsup...

I looked at that and did not seem that was possible. The sproket cover is in the way.

I tried that first, and no you can't rotate it far enough to make it go away. A different style of clamp would have been nice.
