Tacoma, WA | Anyone know how to remove the mirrors? I am in the process of tearing down my beloved PMC Tour to install the chrome around the engine area, and I have to get the speaker grills off. the mirrors have to come off first, to get at the screws for the grills! And the instructions do NOT say how that is done. Anyone??? help, please!!-----Metalguy

20 miles west of Chicago. |
1: Take off the the windshield access panel.
2: Take out the top screws for each rear view mirror with a 6mm allen wrench.
3: Hold onto the mirror so it doesn't fall out. Take off the bottom screw on each mirror using a 10mm socket and small ratchet. The outer edge of each mirror has a tab that must go into the slot that is there. |
