Does anyone have this problem….. When I start the bike in the morning here in New England now that it's cold out. The bike sounds like a cement mixer for a few minutes until it warms up. There is a bad knocking from the back cylinder. The dealer is saying it is normal. From wear (I have 27,000 miles on it) and they say the piston & sleeve expands when warmed up. I asked why is it only in the back cylinder…. They have no answer….. But they will be pulling it apart this winter. Once warmed up the bike runs & sound great

I just wanted to see if this was happening to anyone else

I have more of a heavy tick, than a knock and has been doing so since almost day one. It is worse when the oil needs to be changed, but disappears as the bike warms up. Got 56,800 on the clock tonight.

I had similar sounds and now add about 3 oz. Marvel Mystery Oil and while its still there somewhat its not as loud. Close as my dealer and i can find its the lifters...tiny little buggers that dont take much to get "plugged" I dont have any slippage of the clutch and have been using this for the past 20K miles. Just my 2 cents worth...might be worth a try.
