| Victory has created a couple very cool bikes to salute the armed forces and to help promote the Victory Full Throttle Salute offer. Below are links to photos of the bikes and the message that will be posted overnight on the VRA Page of the Victory website.

Victory Offers Military Personnel a ‘Full Throttle Salute' With $1,000 Cash Back
As you've likely heard by now, Victory is offering a "Full Throttle Salute" to members of the U.S. and Canadian armed forces by offering eligible personnel a special $1,000 cash back off the purchase of any new Victory motorcycle.
This limited-time offer applies to all active duty, National Guard, reserve, and retired U.S. military personnel, who will be asked to show their military I.D. at the time of purchase.
Eligible military riders are encouraged to visit their Victory dealer to make their best deal on a new Victory, and then enjoy an additional $1,000 off as Victory says "thank you for your service."
"We at Victory respect and appreciate the sacrifice and service of our armed forces" said Victory General Manager Steve Menneto. "‘The Victory Full Throttle Salute' is an opportunity for Victory to show that appreciation, and offer these men and women the chance to get on a new Victory and enjoy the escape motorcycling provides."
This is a limited-time offer. Details about the Victory "Full Throttle Salute" are available from participating Victory dealers, and at www.victorymotorcycles-military.com.
Special Show Models Salute the U.S. Army
Victory had its Industrial Design team restyle two Victory models in the U.S. Army branding of two distinct generations. A Kingpin has been painted in traditional Army green and adorned with white Army graphics, while the sheet metal of a Hammer has been dressed in the gold, black and white colors of today's Army.
The bikes will be displayed at selected events and at selected Victory dealerships located near major military installations. The bikes will make their public debut at a mid-November event at Ft. Hood in Texas.

Fountain Inn, SC United States | Mike, thanks again for choosing our site to premier these cool bikes. I especially love the khaki green paint. You never have to wax it! |

Man...am I old school or what? I thought it was called Olive Drab! Of course, JJ is not incorrect...just semantics.
I drooled over it too! Man that looks so retro. Almost a kick back to the WWII days in its look. VERY COOL!

| Looks like a salute to the Army rather than the Armed Forces? Maybe I'm wrong....... |

Fountain Inn, SC United States | Elroy - you're right, it's Olive Drab. Khaki is the first thing that came to mind. The bike needs a matching leather holster for the M1 rifle. |

Posts: 460 Centennial, CO | Oh man...and M1 Garand tucked up underneath you?! THAT would be the SH!T!
I just wonder how often you would get yanked off that bike and bitch slapped by the local PD for carrying a non-firing weapon (of course, mine would be in working order...Ha ha!)? |
