Heading out for an all day trip today, temps near 70 here in the NE. Nearing the end of my riding season ? Tears will be appearing soon, but before I know it, March 2010 will be here, the start of
a new season.

Did a couple of hundred miles through southern PA yesterday. Nice enough, but didn't compare to today. On the trip I stopped and picked up a set of lowers, and of course couldn't wait to do the install. Now I have to sit this fantastic day out while the bike sits for the prescribed 24 hrs.

Did get to see the one Cross Road that the dealer had on the floor. This was as it's new owner was finalizing a deal on it. Started thinking how fortunate those of us with the Vision are that the flagship came out first.

every day is a great day to ride. looking forward to the week ahead with warmer temps and hope that the weather for you folks up north will get a few extra days. If I lived up that way and thought about winterizing my bike, I'd probably wait until late December before I did anything just to be sure the weather had turned.

On the Cross, I had the mined to get a TC before the Vision arrived, and it is hard to think I would have gone with a CC or CR had the Vision not made an appearance when it did. I would like to ride one just to see if the ride is close to the Vision, since it does use the same engineering, a major plus.

Don't really plan on winterizing. So long as I can keep the face shield from freezing over and the road is clear I hope to get continued through the winter. Got a line on some electric garments that could help. Other riders at work already question the sanity of riding to the office this past week - 5:00 am, 32 miles one-way, @33 degrees - no big deal on this bike. Last year on the Suzuki Boulevard the story was quite different.

With things being reversed, in the absence of the Vision, I think that I could have been tempted by the CC, but would have been disappointed when it did appear.
