I want to install a video camera on my Vision. Any suggestions on brands, mounting options, etc.

I've got a GoPro. It works very well, good pic, very easy to use, lightweight. It mounts with either a suction cup or you can mount it with double back tape. Check it out.

"Hero" makes a good one as well as Twenty20 (V-HoldR). Don't have sites handy-just Google

Hero is the GO Pro in the other post. I think it has advantage over the V-Hold R due to case and inexpensive lens replacement in case of debri or oops!

I currently have the Hero Go Pro video camera and it is good but they are about to release a high definition camera that will be really cool. Here is the link http://www.goprocamera.com/ check out some of the sample videos from the new HD camera.

Hey Craig! How you doin' after your ... adventure? I gather that was recorded with a helmet cam - is that the same unit you mention - the "Hero Go Pro"?
All my video stuff has been taken by the Co-Pilot with hand-held Sony cameras, including my Sony HD Vid-cam. She does a good job, but tends to move around too much - I would like a more fixed mount for the scenic stuff.
I am happy to see your posts - means you must be doing good - and I trust the bike is back in good working order - RIDE ON!

Thanks to all the quick responses, our website is invaluable.

I will wait for the HD go pro because of the extended battery and ability to hold a much larger SD card.

A truck pulled in front of me on I95 last April at 70mph and 4 of my group of 14 including me (leading) went down. We all walked away (amazing) and if I would have had the camera we could have got his license plate number as he did not stop.

Thanks Don, I am doing great and my Vision never looked or ran better. I was using the Hero Go Pro camera but the new HD one will be better. I also like the new HD camera from Twenty20 (V-HoldR). It is a little more money but has some nice features. I will have to do some more research and upgrade to one of the HD cameras. I hope to do a trip to Alaska next summer which means we will be coming up your way. We will have to sync up if we can make the trip happen.
