Posts: 6 Celina, TX. | I've been reading ya'll for months and have been dyin to have something to post about. I pick up my 09 VVT Premium tomorrow from Stroker's in Dallas. I can't wait. Stroker's has gone above and beyond. I was a little Harley and Custom intimidated when I went into the place but WOW am I now impressed. I was going with the Victory financing but when they wanted to jack my interest rate for my Debt to Income ratio (American Way...right?) DAVE MARSHALL my sales guy called me and told me HE found me other financing for 5.8%. On a motorcycle? I'm lovin it. Anyway, ask for Dave if you go to Stroker's.
Couple of questions off the top of my head.
How many miles are ya'll getting on your tires?
How many MPG are ya'll gettin.....city and highway?
Can't wait to see you on the road... |

Posts: 271 Belding Michigan | Congrats on the new bike great rate on the loan.
Tires are per rider some here are getting 10K others get 18 to 20K don't like riding on the threads so when mine is down to the point of the wear bars it is gone. I have 7K on this bike tires still look like new. Mileage for me is aobut 40 MPG average seen people with 30 and some claim 45 so I would guess 38 to 40 is about the norm also depends on your throttle setting. If you ride quiet mileage is great if you run WFO (wound full out) not so good. Your choice. Post a picture when you can and welcome to the family. Archie |

| 10,000 on the first rear tire. 14,000(too much) on the front.
I get a little over 40MPG and I have been told I ride spiritidly.
Pretty much no city driving, just lots of twisties and mountains. |

I was in Dallas on the 7th and 8th of November and visited Stroker's. Man did I fit in. I was in Dallas for a wedding so I did not know if I would have any time to run around.
Saturday at 3:30 I got freed from my duties and drove my truck to Stroker's.
The closer I was to Stroker's the more bikes I saw. It was like bees buzzing in and out of a hive.
Always dress for success! I was in a striped button up long sleeve shirt, dockers and white running shoes. Rick Fairless looked at me and rolled his eyes. Hey I do not blame him. I looked like a real dweeb but hey, I was in Dallas for a wedding and I did not pack my boots.
They had a beer tasting event. Cool. A white Vision on the floor and a 8-Ball Vision.
I picked up a blue tie dye shirt on the sale rack and left. When I got back my wife wanted to see the place so I picked her up and went back to Stroker's.
She bought a tie dye shirt and I got another.
On Sunday we dropped by again to exchange a shirt that fit me to tight and I picked up a wallet.
Nice place and it is very well stocked. Great staff.
I will make it a point to visit whenever I return.

I just changed my tires after 13,000 miles, could have gone a bit more, but I love the feel on new tires.... really cut those corners.
I get between 35 and 42 mpg...... it is all good. Does mpg really matter???
Ride safe!

Posts: 495 Carrollton, TX | Congrats Mark! I bought the very first Vision Strokers sold and they are an awesome dealer. The Vision has been the best purchase I have ever made of anything. Drop me an email craig.edland@hp.com and we can get together for a ride. There is a group of 6 to 8 of use that have Vision’s that get together to ride and we would love to have you join us. On fuel mileage I am averaging about 40 to 41 mpg on average. On tire mileage I am averaging about 11,000 to 13,000 miles on the rear and 16,000 to 18,000 on the front tire. Since I started using the Dyna Beads to balance my tires I have noticed better mileage on my tires and a smoother ride. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eq263AYgyYg |

| Amazing how when riding with buddies, no wife and no trunk, I go from low 40's to about 30MPG.
Just fun beating up on HD's. |

Posts: 550 Tacoma, WA | I average around 40 in winter, 45 summer. My first set of tires were about 19,000 miles. Still had pretty decent tread, too. I have never had a bike so good on tires. Even my Honda shadow vt1100c went through a rear tire about every 8,000. -----Metalguy |
