OK, I am going INSANE trying to get this figured out...All I am trying to do is to tie my Zumo 550 into the pre-wired connector on my 2009 Vision (read as NO SPLICING the Visions wires, just the GPS wires).

Here is what has transpired so far, I ordered the cable someone posted here for the 2720 cable to tie into the Vision (Garmin part # 010-110995-something for $8.00) well I got the cable and found it only has 3 wires going to the Victory connector. So I call Garmin yesterday and talk with Customer support, they say it's the wrong cable and I need the motorcycle power/audio cable for $35 bucks so I order the part and I get an email with the order number and a link to a picture of the cable. Well the cable is for the 2720 GPS and you have to HARD WIRE the cable to the motorcycle.....WRONG CABLE!!!

Call Garmin this morning and talk to another Tech support person, I tell him I need a cable that will interface with a Victory Vision I don't care which Garmin unit I need, as I will splice the Zumo 550 directly to whatever cable they send me just that it needs a power cable (pos/neg) and an audio cable (audio out pos/audio out neg) to plug directly into the Victory Vision. He said he was unaware that Garmin had partnered with Victory to make any part specific to Victory...he then puts me on hold and checks with other folks in Garmin about 5 mintues later he comes back and says he found the part I am looking for...I ask what is the part number he says" Garmin part # 010-110995-something for $8.00" and I say I already have that part and it is NOT the on eI need, it has a audio connector on it not a GPS connector on it.

Can ANYONE post the CORRECT part number so I can order this stupid cable from Garmin and get the right one??? This should be a NO BRAINER!!!

Thanks for the suggestion but Spock SPLICED his wires to the pre-wired connector on the Vision I WANT to find the correct cable that will allow me to PLUG INTO the Vision's PRE-WIRED cable....Not splice it.

do you have a ipod cable? what I did, works great, purchased a 3.5 mm jack that plugs into headset port on zumo that has a female ipod hookup on the other end of the 3.5mm cable...these are on ebay for 12.95. Full stereo thru bike speakers, stereo XM, Stereo MP3, Stereo Voice cammands. no splicing. I drilled a small hole in the front side of the glove box for the cord to go thru and used a small rubber grommet to make it water tight, its out of site and works great.

Was wondering if you could supply a photo of the cable. I understand this to mean if i have the i-pod cable for running the iPod on the bike and then purchase the cabel that has a 3.5mm male end to plug into the Zumo and the other end of the cable has a famale receptacle to plug into the male iPod end attached to the bike.  Is this correct?

I just ordered a 660 and will use this IPod cable as mentioned to hook it into the sound system. Will have tio run it on AUX I guess but that is not a problem because I don't use the Radio anyway.

I won't need an IPod anymore with the MP3 capability of the Garmin so what better way than to use the IPod cable I already have.

How did you run Power?

I have a 2008 Vision Tour and have read a couple of threads and can probably fabricate a power connection for the Key to turn on Power, but just interested in what you did.

Although I no longer have the instructions that came with my Victory mount kit (for the standard accessory 2720 gps) I know that on the instruction sheet Victory assigns a part number from each part of the kit.  If someone here still has their instructions perhaps they could post the part number for the cable as listed there.  I simply used the kit as designed with a modification of the gpa accessory cable to supply power and receive audio from my Zumo, this cable can be unplugged from the Visions wiring harness leaving no changes and I think that is what you are looking for, correct?

What is your website where you posted all the instructions for the victory accessory installations?
