Posts: 432 Gettysburg, 2008 Tour Premium | ON page 4 of the new Victory Rider there is a half page article about two Vic teams that placed third in there class in the AMRA racing season. Psychomotive is one of the companys and they sell off the shelf E-Proms or custome E-Proms for our bikes. I have a call into them to inquire about the service but have not heard back.
Anybody heard of these guys? |

It's possible to get your EEPROM flahsed but no one offers a new PROM to get burned and soldered into place on your ECU. PROM is Programmable Read Only Memory. We run on EEPROM; which is Electronically Erasable Programable Read Only Memory. That's a good thing since our Vision computers can be overwritten and re-programmed. The best solution available for our bikes is to install a module that the PROM boots off of from the ECM (Electronic Conrol Module) AKA ECU (Electronic Control Unit). Unfortunately we don't have enough of a following to get a major manufacturer to crank out a reprogrammer for our ECU, so we're stuck with with power programmers to be installed inline with the fuel injectors. This junk gets confusing. I like turning wrenches (and I suck at it)
this junk has taken over because it's cheaper. |
