| Took the Vision to my dealer yesterday for some "Christmas presents" and was talking to him about the lousy radio reception.
He took me back to his storage area and showed me a bike that the owner had installed external CB and AM/FM antennes on. You can't believe the difference.....the reception even inside a steel/block building was amazing.
Mounted one on each side of the trunk and looked like a natural fit. The new Cross Country has an external mounted off the rear tail frame and first impression is that it's much better.
New Stage one exhaust, Kuryakan LED light system, and a couple of other small gifts....and he's storing it for "free".
How's that for a dealer. Oh, he's already sold six of the Cross Country. |

I can do without bling and toys (I'll hate it, but I can do it), but the toys that I do have, I want to work well.
I'd love to see that setup and do something similar to my VV. |

| We have to assume the dealer stuck his nose in that bike to find out what was done. So give it up.
I can only assume the hidden antenna has standard plug so when it's removed any standard plug antenna would fit then run the wires through the frame, out the trunk mount opening, maybe a quick disconnect there but that might cause interference and run up the trunk like the CB antenna? I always thought the Vision would look good with dual antennas but I always worry about poking my eye with one when opening the trunk now double the chance. ) |

| there's one for the radio and one for the CB.
Tell you what...I may be back at the dealer this week and if I can I'll take pics and ask more questions about the entire setup.
All I know is both are whip type and the radio is on the left side of the trunk and the CB is exactly opposite on the other side.

| Pics would be appreciated. And I am sure the owner wouldn't mind if you took the seat off and any other parts to get good pics of the wiring... :P |
