Still looking for replacement shift and brake pegs, but I'm not crazy about the Ness styles. I've seen some aftermarket for Kingpins, are they the same threaded pattern?

Yes. I have the long Kuryakyn pegs on both my 04 KP and the Vision, both shift and brake.
