Posts: 1158 Richmond, Virginia | After a 4 month wait time, my dealer is coming over tonight to load my Vision on the trailor and take her back to the shop to be totally re done. Many of you know
i had ordered the new 2010 paint job skins for the Vision. They came in last week and lemme tell ya, these are NOT stickers on a body panel covered in poly.
These skins are hand painted and sealed, the brush strokes are incredible.
I will not have the bike for about a week because of them having to dismantle just about everything off the body to do the change out. They want me to have the bike ready for our annual Victory New Years Day lunch ride. Dealer wants everyone to see the new bike. Im excited as all heck. Wasnt expecting them to arrive until after the new year. Ya'll have a good Christmas and remember
Jesus wasnt born in December, he was born in the summer (which is bike riding season). Have a festive politically correct holiday spirit RammaHannaKwansmas !!
ugh,, i hate that crap M E R R Y C H R I S T M A S !! |

Posts: 1158 Richmond, Virginia | The 2010 limited edition skins were supposed to have been in the 2010 catalog, but they were not done in time.
I had to have my dealer take photos of it at the pre-show for 2010 models . I have photos (its really a computer
generated artists rendition since they had not been painted at the time), i can email you that if you want to see.
Otherwise I will post actual photos of my bike next week when its completed and they bring it back to me.
If you want to see preliminary pics, email me directly posting pics on this site is a huge butt pain.

Posts: 1158 Richmond, Virginia | My dealer totally surprised me !! They picked up my bike from the house last night, and told me they were not going to get to it until
next week as they were going to close for the holiday and weekend. As a total surprise to me, when i got home from work tonight,
I pushed the garage door button in the truck and there in front of me was my finished new Vision ! The guys did the changeout all day and wanted to surprise me for Christmas by bringing it back and putting it back in the garage. What an awesome surprise.
It made my holiday !! I will try to post pics here, but if any of you want to see the bike with best photo resolution please email me directly and i can shoot you off some pics.

Posts: 1158 Richmond, Virginia | dpavao is correct they are only available for the black or midnight cherry 09 model. Keeping in mind that the panel is black and it would turn a dark cherry bike into a hot looking two tone bike. 1999.00 is the price not including installation. My dealer gives me
a 20% courtesy discount and I provide them with our chrome passenger hand grips to retail in the store. So after that mix of exchange and discount, the price came down for me. The paint is beautiful. Its not a cheaply done sticker applied on the skin and poly applied over it to seal it. Its painted by airbrush, each set will be slightly different. The detailing is incredible, you can see the brush strokes.

Posts: 725 Reno County, KS | That looks like some sweet leafing! Some of the best graphics I've seen on a Vision. There is one other bike that had a tribal flame pattern that followed those contour lines and looked really nice too. Great job. Looking forward to getting some garage time so I can install some goodies and take off my grab handles to send your way paradox. |

Posts: 1158 Richmond, Virginia | Look forward to getting you some chrome ones back big guy !! Takes me about 3 weeks.
I sent my uppers and lowers out to be black vinyl wrapped. Should get them back this week. I want to see how they look before I recommend them to others. The guy who does them only wraps one side. Kinda pointless to wrap both sides in black. If they come back and dont look show quality finished, im going to take Cycle Ops up and get him to do a set of black for me. Keep you guys posted. |
