| Hello All
Had a great ride today in Utah. The temp was high 38. Stayed in the valley where the roads were dry. Put on 100 miles and had a blast. I was surprised that the bike started so easy after sitting for a month in freezing temps. Nothing can kill the battery. I was at a light when this car came up to me and asked if my bike was made by HONDA. I laughed and said No Victory. He gave me this confused look and asked - What is a Victory?. I just gave him a thumbs up and continued on my ride. Happy New Year to all, remember Spring is right around the corner.

great to here you got to get out KO. I like the fact that our bikes are so unique that only special people have them and the rest don't have a clue as to what they are - Ride On! |

Posts: 203 Rapid City, SD | My wife has been starting mine weekly just to keep it happy. I'll have to wait until I return from Korea to take my Vision for a ride. I will try and get back for Sturgis but that might be tricky. |

Posts: 3204 Memphis | My bike has been down for a week (longest stretch ever) getting all of the aluminum colored parts either color-matched (Midnight Cherry) or swapped out with chrome parts. I'm hoping to have it all put back together by Friday. I've put more miles on my truck in the last week than the past two years combined. The high in Memphis on Friday is scheduled to be 21, low of 9. I will ride no matter what. |

I read this somewhere and thought Wow !!! that is sooo true. "Victory - if they have to ask they must ride a Harley"
I aint slammin HD or their riders but it seems when someone gets their Harley they think they've hit the end and forget anything else exists. My brothers included. Just an observation. |

Posts: 804 Perry Hall, MD | When I was shopping for a bike I visited HD, told them that I was also looking at the Vision and discussed cold weather riding. Salesman told me the employees all ride in the cold and use heated jackets and gloves. Five months pass by, it's cold 20s/30s, I ride up to the HD shop, as usual there are a lot of people there, but only one on a bike - mine. Maybe they had all their bikes parked inside, but the lot was full of cages.
Been through the Honda question before - it's just not worth trying to explain it to some people. |
