Tried the cruise control on my '09 premium. It is nice having a bike with cruise control on long trips. But it seemed to be surging. I wondered about the tuning for the cruise control.

I would continuously feel the bike speed up, slow down, speed up, slow down. Even on a flat surface.

Anyone else have this issue?

New Bohemia, VA		I've not, but there is a way in the manual to reset the cruise or there are post in the tech forum that will tell you how.

northwest florida		does the surge happen in 6th gear and around 2 grand on the tach? could be the engine just lugging....just a thought.

Northeast Ohio		Hold up there. I would highly recommend you leave it alone. It will help you from falling asleep on long highway rides.

Oswego,, Illinois,USA		I just had fun turning useing my arms into the wind . No surging though. I will look for that next time out. Too cold here in Chicago.
