Posts: 575 Spirit Lake IA "Birthplace of Victory Motorcycles" | Here is my latest winter project:
I removed the stock metal badge, cut out the center of the cheese wedge, cut out new a clear Lexan "badge" (had to bend to form and JB Weld to chrome), and had graphics redone in a different font on vinyl. Light actually shines through the 106 and lettering. Frosted the back of the Lexan so you couldn't see through. I then drilled out the indents.
Wizard lights mounted to engine compartment that allow me to change color . . . also has a "breathing" mode where lights fade in and out. Looks fairly stock when lights are turned off. Won't really make my bike go faster, but it was fun to do.
(tried for 20 min resizing pics . . . I give up) Here is the link: http://thevog.net/forums/display_topic/id_3525/
