kevinx lives in Gainesville FL and works at Polaris of Gainesville. Send him a pm and he'll hook you up.

Next to Lloyd (Hard on Horsepower) kevinx is the top Vic wrench; the only reason I give Lloyd the nod is because he has done the R&D for these parts and produces them for sale.

I was in from the start. That should make three. Is that enough for a party?

For three to make it. the mix would have to be two 09's, and one 08. However we may be able to make this work. As I said we are looking at the end of March. I will PM all with the tentative dates as soon as I get to work Monday

You'd be hard pressed to find a better dealer. Jerry and his crew are there to help their customers and do one Hell of a job at it!!! In two plus years of dealing with them it is still a pleasure to walk into PVMC and be greeted as a friend and not just another customer. They are ALL top notch people and do all they can to make your visit there a good one!!! Let us know when you plan to be there and we'll stop by for a meet & greet!!

    Kevinx,

If I don't have the date you are planning to be in Prescott soon I will lose my window for securing time off from work and will be unable to attend. I sure would like to benefit from your expertise in this modification first hand. I still need reasonable time in order to arrange for my shift coverage.

Could you please post or PM the date of this Cam Party!

         Thanks, Paulhu

I don't know if the type of exhaust makes any difference, but I have the L2 pipes on my 2008. That's the only performance mod I have done.

These trips have a very tight focus, and unfortunatly that does not give me time to do exhaust. So before would be the best thing.

I have my finger on the button to book the date as the 27th, and need to make sure that works for all

OK it looks like my boss thinks that my having any free time in March is a bit over rated. Looks like April 4th is the date unless there is a major conflict with any of the participants. So let me know so I can get the tickets before they go even higher

  Just visited with my boss, he reminded me of our annual plant shutdown schedule.....Guess what, no coverage oportunity for me the first weekend in April.

Any chance of pushing it to 4/24 or 5/1?

As one of the retired guys let me take moment to check my schedule. Zip ahead .05 nano second. Yep! I'm free that day. No surgeries or other disgusting old man treatments that day. Let me know when this is a firm date so I can start staring at my calandar.

Yep, mine too! I haven't had a surgery in more than two years, so I'm good to go. All I need is a firm date. I assume that this will be an over nighter. So if that's correct, where's everyone staying at? It's about a three to four hour ride from Tucson to Prescott so that makes sense to me. Besides I haven't been there in awhile and would make for a good ride.

Let me know.

Work will be done either at Big Joe's house, or the Kewlmetal store. I'll give you an addy tomorrow, and see where Joe recomends to stay.

After further review, looks like I won't need to spend the night. If all goes well, I should be able to get back to Tucson around 6 PM. My Harley riding buddy wants to come along as well. He's a retired engineer and wants to see process. March 20th seems like such a LONG time away!

??????? Kevin,

?? Where will you be performing the work? Where is a good place to stay?

???????? -Paulhu

You and your bike can stay at my house if you like. I have a spare room with one of "those sleep thingys" and I live near Joe. I have room in the garage for our Visions. I have a TV in the garage where I smoke cigars and stay out of my wifes way.

       Very generous offer Necktie! But... Two of my riding buddies are coming with, just to ride and get out of the snow for a while. Maybe we can get a ride in together, heard Cottonwood Canyon is nice. We'll be trailering down on the 18th and will have Friday free to whatever. Is there a nice hotel w/sportsbar or nearby watering hole in Prescott? Who serves the best ribeye?

       Look forward to meeting you in any case.

Just to let you guys know. We have a full roster.

Grey Rider has the 1PM time slot.
That leave us with....
7AM
10AM
4PM
The last bike is one that is being dropped off for pick up later. I need everybody there at least an hour before your slot. Now I will leave it to you guys to work out the when of it...

OK Az. Rob is now in the 10AM slot. As he was the drop off bike that means I will want the last bike there around 5pm I ussually make some time up through the day, and should still have that bike out at a reasonable time. I think it would be best if the last bike were Neck Tie since he is the local, or Paul since he will be doing an overnight.
7AM=open
10AM=AZ Rob
1pm=Grey Rider
4pm=open
5pm=open
Remember that you need to get there about an hour early for cool down, and like I said I ussually make time during the day.

    The 4pm works for me, but I could make any of the open times if somone else has a need for the 4pm slot.

There is a Hampton Inn right in the business district of Precott Valley. There are other hotels in PV and Prescott. Rates vary. From the Hampton, there are many restaurants and a sports bar at Buffalo Wings which is walking distance. For Ribeyes there is LefTy's on Hgwy 69, Texas Rodehouse by Gateway Mall, Cattle Co. on Sheldon near downtown Prescott, Outback at Frontier Village, Dry Gulch off Iron Springs, and others. Cottonwood is nice but the ride thru Sedona is tops.

I'll be hanging around the master wrench most of the afternoon. I'm still not clear if it's Big Joes house or at Kewelmetal. Either way, as it gets closer I will arrange to meet up with your group and guide you in. See you on the 20th.

     Thanks for the great info Necktie, looks like the hampton it is. Just gotta finish chipping away at the friggin' 8" thick glacier in front of my garage doors and dig the trailer out with the Kubota and I'll be all set. Mumbling vulgar, made up Al Gore songs to myself for motivation.

     Really looking forward to the trip though!

Kevin, what time is the last spot? 5pm? or later? Jerry usually closes at 5pm. Is he staying open later?

I have told Big Joe that I work straight through, and I guess they are planning to stay open till I am done. As I said though. People need to be at least an hour early for their spot for cool down

I'm as surprised as you are*LOL* Big Joe from Kewlmetal is my host for this one, and he has a very good relationship with these folks. I have no problem sharing what I know with a dealer. It just improves the brand all around

Loaded the bikes yesterday, and managed to get in a quick 40mi. before frostbite set in. Thank the good Lord for heated seats. It was actually a pretty nice day; 42 degF and sunny, anything better than that next weekend will just be gravy! I expect you locals to do everything within your power to ensure the weather agrees with riding! he he he...
