Hey All,

I have been looking to try and find a 3rd gen IPOD Nano to use with my 09 Vision Tour Premium. As a result I am thinking that I will have to change out my existing mp3 cable. I took a quick look, however, I am not sure. Is there a quick disconnect that I can unplug the mp3 cable then just plug in the IPOD cable to the same place?

Also has anyone noticed any online deals on the 3rd gen ipod nanos (8gig) lately? Is my info correct that the 3rd gen nano is powered and fully functionally compatible with the vision?

Yes, the cable is very much "plug and play" You don't even have to remove any panels! The Ipod cable comes with a new rubber grommet, so just remove the old one and the connector will come right thru the hole. Unplug the old and plug in the new one. Simple as that! If I can do it, anyone can...

I got a pretty good deal on a Gen 3 Ipod on Ebay. It is a refurbished unit from Best Buy. I think I got it for $40.00. Just do a search on there and you will finds TONS!
