Posts: 8 west bend wi | I figured about half or so just to get it a little louder without removing the whole baffle |

Posts: 88 Billings, MT | I modified the stock pipes after several thousand miles on my '08. As anybody can tell you that Victory meeting in Billings in '09, they have a very distinct throaty sound. I haven't put a fuel controller on yet, only thing i noticed was a few more exhaust pops |

Popping and sputtering would be symptoms for sure... |

| Do a search but in most cases posted you need the controller when changing intake AND exhaust. I ran my '03 many miles with my front opened air intake with no problems. |

Posts: 2026 Brighton, TN | There was another member on here, CJSoaringEagleNOhO, who had taken a long drill bit and just drilled through the baffles, to get a little more rumble. Of course, this is all rumor, he winked a lot. This was all done to a stock motor and he didn't upgrade any controller or mapping, etc.

I will answer to most anything by anybody from Tennnnneessee - I drilled mine out and did nothing more - increased the boom a little but not really enough to make a difference. It was a real bear to drill those out. |

Posts: 35 PINELLAS PARK, FL. | I removed the entire baffle and CAT Convertor from my 09 tour premium and it does seem to run rich. There is a lot of popping when I get on the throttle and the fuel mileage is not as good in town. Out on the highway it is fine. It DEFINATLEY improves the sound. I am seriously considering a fuel controll system, Power Commander or something. But all in all, I like it. |

Posts: 8144 New Bohemia, VA | my '08 sounds like it is opening on its own and I've noticed a richer run than in the past. Time to recheck for exhaust leaks, but the pipes themselves have a deeper tone. Could be my problem with running rich... |
