Saw a video that showed the G&H wires in the block being cut (or back the pins out) Both wires are blue on the 08s
On my 09 the wire colours for G&H pins are black and black with red strioe,
Anyone know if these are still the correct wires?

Thank you

I am thinking that someone with an 09 or 10 will chime in soon and answer your question but as far as I know G & H are them.

Here is a thread that talks about the mod

Here is the original Tech article.

lol I was just looking for this same thing. Got a complaint from my buddies I ride with about the brake lights with the turning indicator on. I really don't want to cut them so I need to figure out how to back them out.

They are very easy to back out of the main harness side of the plug. Remove the little plastic bridge that holds all the wires into the plug. If you are looking dead on at the plug, you will see each square hole has a little notch off it. Push a very small tool or even a tooth pich in there. That pushes down the locking tab. You should be able to pull the entire wire and termianl out now.
