Well, I am going to try the Ness Big Shot, Honkers, and Twin Sucker. Any recommendations? I have the Cycle Dragon pipes now and they are good, but I want a lot more. Cycle Dragon is going to do my install and tuning. i will certainly give you guys a review when I am done.

Do I need to concern myself with the IAV? I don't know what all of this really is, but I am willing to learn and do it right.

I want some crazy grumblin and no pops. I know there will be pops, but I hope to do what is needed to minimize them. Any recommendations?

thanks

You won't have pops with those Honkers, you are going to have bangs! Seriously, I hope you don't. Do you have pops with the dragon's?

I can probably still switch to the lloyds set up (Ness is back-ordered a few weeks). What is the consensus on the difference? I have searched and read on here and I cant really get a clear picture of any difference. When I called Cycle Dragon they recommended Ness if I was just looking for more sound. Lloyds seemed to be for more power, which I am not overly concerned about. I would love more power and more sound, but for now if I could just get a bad ass healthy rumble I would be happy. These bikes deserve some attitude. I do not like being a sewing machine on wheels. My black and chrome beauty needs some attitude!

I have the Lloyds set up and the Big Honkers. Personally I think my bike sounds better than any Vision I have heard so far.

Anybody out there have the Ness Big Honkers, Big Shot, and Twin Sucker? If you do... do you have a pop problem? I cancelled my order and am looking into Lloyds and Ness and hope to find whatever works for a nice loud rumble, and no pops.

Does anyone have that with a Vision?

Also: this is without doing any engine/cam/piston upgrade.

Does anyone have Lloyds or Ness pipes/fuel/air intake and no pops on decel?

Thanks

I have the whole Ness setup and I really like the sound nice deep rumble but not nearly as loud as my JP with slashness pipes. The Honkers do pop on occasion mostly under light throttle upshifts and downshifts.

I also have the ness setup. I had the same slight pop from timr to time. I just played with the settings. no more popping. I love how deep and throaty they are

OK! This is good news. I am trying to hear from people who are enjoying them and not having a pop pop popping nightmare. Thanks.

Do you adjust it yourself? Is this something that a novice can do?

well I am not a novice. but it's not hard. when you get it. just tune it the way it says to for your set up. There are 6 different settings. Once you set them up initially, leave the last 3 alone. Just fine tune with the first three settings. This will make way more since when you read over the directions! your are probably more confused now then before reading this! sorry!

I have played phone-tag with Lloyd, so I now emailed him. When I hear back I will have a better grasp on options.

My dealer said that I will get popping with the Ness and I am afraid that they will not help me to remedy any of it since they already made the stance that I "will get it". I would prefer the support from Lloyd if he says that his set-up will not pop. Of course an occasional pop is not the issue, I am talking about a pattern of consistent popping.... can't do that!

Thanks!
