I just recieved and installed my "tankslapper" paint protection clear film on the pannel in front of the seat and the two side pannels.

It took about 20 minutes start to finish, too easy.

A very good fit and excellent price.

Happy camper so far.

I believe that the website is www.thetankslapper.biz. I did not see the saddle bag pieces but they say they are always expanding.

Two words for you all, "Liquid Glass." Back in 08 when all us early folks were picking up our Visions this topic and the use of these strips was discussed. I've used Liquid Glass on many bikes over the years and suggested folks spend the $12 for a can at their local autozone and give it a go. Since several have decided to use it and are very happy with the results. Here are the tips:
1. You don't need the LG prep before application, just give the bike a good wash and make sure you get EVERYTHING off before you apply the first coat. If you don't it will seal the dirt on your bike.
2. Apply 3 coats minimum for the first application, allowing 4 hours of hardening time inbetween applications (coats).
3. This is optional but I recommend that you apply a new coat of LG after each wash for the first summer. With each coat the finish will get brighter with greater shine. If you have any minor swirls in your factory paint these will disappear with the increase in coats.
4. If you get a scratch it will be in the liquid glass and not in your paint, so cleaning and then applying a new coat of LG will make it disappear.

Hope this helps....... T

How'd you get it for $15.00 delivered? When I went to their site, it was $29.95 plus shipping.

Teach, following your tip and after a bit of research (33 reviews/31 gave 5stars & 2 gave 4) I picked up a pint of Liquid Glass from the parts store this afternoon, $22, and got my first coat on after washing the bike and so far I'm very impressed. It's going to take some time to lay down enough layers to get to where I want to be but I've French polished guitars and know how rewarding the effort can be. I might even put a few coats on one of my guitars. Thanks for the recommendation.
