Posts: 763 Anderson, IN (48mi NE of downtown Indianapolis) | I'm going to watch this thread. I have read many threads of headlight fog...mostly due to cracks if I remember correctly. I have 15k miles on my bike and ride in the rain frequently. I have not had the headlight fog problem, so I thought I got a good one by luck. Lately, though, I have noticed it fogging at the top. It's not very noticable yet, but it's slowly creeping down. I'm curious to see how others reply to this thread. |

Posts: 135 Yellowknife, NT Canada | I noticed water running down the inside of my lens and fog in it as well. Is this just with the headlight or have you noticed this with the HID as well? I have 2700 miles on my bike, 2008. Bought new last August. |

Posts: 763 Anderson, IN (48mi NE of downtown Indianapolis) | Mine is not fogged from water. It's more like that film that builds up on the inside of a car windshield if not cleaned for a couple of years. Maybe it's caused from vapor inside the light leaving a residue behind, but the bathroom glass look itself is not water. I hope the warranty covers it even if no cracks are found. |

Posts: 562 SC, Bluffton | Dumb question, but are the replacement identical? If so, I might wait until it is really bad (might get a local dearlership in the meantime) Mine has fogged about 1/2" along the top. The cracks are really fine and don't look worth worrying about. It is the fogging that irritates me, but I have to point it out if showing someone.
