Posts: 61 Southeast Idaho | so i just can figure out which exhaust to go with, ive narrowed it down to the "Ness Big Honkers" and the "Thunder sticks" from Lloyds. Ive heard the thunder sticks in person and thought they sounded great. havent heard the big honkers except for youtube. whats the opinions out there on the two and the differences....any help is appreciated |

| Just be aware that when you change from your stock exhaust your bike WILL pop..It will pop on decel and will pop on shifts and it is a huge pain in the ass. That being said I have the Ness honkers and they are a slip on and have a nice sound when they are not poping..Thunder sticks are thunder headers and have a louder sound then the honkers, I have a set on My Harley and they sound awesome..They also come in slip ons called Thunder cones.. It sucks that Victory with all the tech stuff they have cant figure out how to get the motor not to pop when pipes are added it is the ONLY thing I dont like about my Vision.. Hope this helps you out .

Posts: 55 Las Vegas, NV | I'm not a fan of the thunder sticks. If I remember right, don't they add additional length to the exhaust? I've got the big honkers. They rumble with a very LOW frequency, but are not nasty. Once you get on the throttle, they sound GREAT! |
