| A statement from Victory's corporate office for Victory Riders:
Yesterday [5/20], Polaris announced a realignment of our manufacturing operations that included the eventual sale or closure of the Osceola manufacturing operations. Questions have been raised about how this affects the manufacturing of Victory Motorcycles, including our Freedom V-Twin engine. Victory Motorcycle assembly will remain in our Spirit Lake, Iowa, facility, and assembly of the Freedom V-Twin engine will now join it there. This allows us to have all Victory manufacturing and assembly in a single location. It's still an American-made motorcycle. We have planned investments going into the Spirit Lake plant as it becomes the Victory Motorcycles Center of Excellence. We recognize that it is difficult news for our Osceola employees and we will make every effort to ease the transition. All employees impacted by these moves will be treated with the fairness and respect they deserve.

| Good news. I'd have to seriously re-think my preferences if they moved the manufacturing out of the US. |

| How does this statement from Victory jive with the news from yesterday? Where is the Mexico link? Is there no Mexico issue suddenly, or is it just a different part of the operation that is moving there? I don't get it?... I like it, ...but I don't get it? What happened?
I am happy to see this. I was very concerned with a Mexican vibe to the American bike. If I see that coming, I hate to say it, but I may consider options... Harley may have even more import issues, but it drips with Americana that compensates. If Victory loses THAT edge, I fear the worst.
Dear Victory:
Do what it takes to be American made. Tell the truth, and build great bikes.
Love,
America |

Posts: 411 Dallas, Texas | For me, if I could have a Vision that 1)the saddlebags were tight and straight, 2)radio that sounded good and picked up stations well, 3) filling up with gas didn't have the possiblility of creating a gas leak, 4) a trunk that didn't rattle...etc..etc..and it was either partially/fully made outside or inside the US, that would be fine by me. |

Sorry - but one of the key reasons I purchased Victory was because it is American Made - if Polaris/Victory move manufacturing of ANY part of the Victory motorcycle out of the U.S. and especially to Mexico then my 2008 Vision will be my last Victory.

| I doubt there was any true thought about moving outside the US.
Let's take a look at this from a different point of view. GW is assembled in the US. Honda and other foreign companies get giant tax breaks to move here. They hire young people, average age of 23, to work their plants along with all the robots. Now fast forward to today. Those young workers are now older and need more medical insurance needs and the foreign companies move back home? Let's see if I have this right. They move here and get big tax breaks but when the tax breaks run out and insurance costs increase they move? |

It's been confirmed, Victory will be making their freedom engine in Spirit Lake, IA. You can go and see them for your self come August at the AVR.
