Posts: 447 Northeastern Penna. | Can it be put simply, that there is an ipod that works good on the Vision, be it an 08,09 or 10? I've seen some earlier posts, but there seems to be a debate on which one is good.I'm looking for an ipod for my 08. |

Go to this site: http://www.cablejive.com/
and buy their "charge converter" for I-Pod $20
Problem solved. |

Posts: 482 Beer Collins, Colorado (there is no fort) | My vote would be for a Nano (we have two for our separate tastes/playlists)- I have an '09 and they work perfectly, good capacity, compact, listen to it in the hotel room over cocktails with a small dock/charger/external speakers + they're what we use in our everyday alarm clocks to wake up to the tune of choice rather than some obnoxious beeping to start the day.

| I use a first generation Itouch. Sounds great and charges without having to use an adaptor. |

Posts: 135 Yellowknife, NT Canada | I originally used and I-Pod Nano with this Victory cord, and it charged and operated fine.. Make sure your radio is up to date..

The I got a 3 Gen I-Pod Touch and purchased this cable from Victory to solve the charging issue, it worked fine. Picture on the site is similar to supplied cable. But the actual supplied cable has only one connector...

Donetracey suggests an adapter which works well with the first cable and charges the current products..
Cheers... |

Posts: 374 Tucson, AZ | I was just given a 5th Gen, 8 gig Ipod. Bought the cable from Victory, and a Scosche adapter from Ebay for 14 bucks. Charges, works on the Vision display (song title) and sound quality is far better the the generic MP3 is was using.

| Tip of the day on this topic: Put some dielectric grease on the Ipod lead before pluggin into your Ipod (Nano is my choice). Seems most of the issues are the result of corrosion and the dielectric grease will prevent that. You can get a small tube which can be stored on the bike at any autoparts store. |
