The Jedi has thirsted for many nights. His mind has been troubled and the abyss great. His steed, while fast and beautiful, did not comfort bring. His soul, void and searching, finally succumbed to the lure of the Dark Knight. Born from dark skies and sinister winds, snatched from the clutches of Victory, the 'Dark Knight' is mine. Jedi powers will prevail to harness it energy but the Dark Knight will remain wild at its core and black in its heart.

Behold his new steed!
The Jedi is now officially a Vision Rider!!!!!!

The bike looks awesome, One would think Jedi Jeff would have looked happier in his photo instead, he looks like his black knight just rode over his trusty side kick C3PeeO

Wow! That looks extreme! Welcome to the fold.

I saw a thread the other day where you wanted victory to make a radio kit for the 8-ball Vision and I was wondering if it was for you.....then I thought Jeff doesn't ride a Vision.

Ride Safe!

I wish that Dan, Junior and I would have had the time to break her in for you.
If Junior is going to install the extras you are waiting for, give me some notice and I will meet you there.

That was just a note to Victory for their accessories.
But, yes, I was able to "obtain" a Vision radio (now on order). However it will have aftermarket speakers - either Bazookas or J&Ms.

Bike is also slated for cruise control (on order). Already has heated grips and windshield motor.

LOL! I wanted a stern look. Instead I look disgruntled! Rest assured, I'm a excited little kid on the inside.

Skip the factory radio. Go with a loaded GPS and an amp. You can mount a remote switch like the Vic without the hassles of the Vic radio and it's MANY glitches.

Jeff, congrats on an awesome ride, this bike is you. To be honest, I thought you and an X bike was going to connect. The video is great work, really enjoyed it. Do you still have the cruiser? Enjoy the Vision.

Congrats on the new ride! I've been considering either a Cross Country or an 8-Ball Vision as a second ride as I love the looks of the 8-BV but I really enjoy my music when riding and the huge saddlebags of the CC are more convenient for hauling the laptop back and forth to work so I'll probably go with the CC next year.

I had my money on Jeff going Cross Country also.  It will be interesting to see where he finds whitewalls for the 8-Ball.

BEAUTIFUL BIKE. I just picked up my X/C black rims for my 09 TP so now I know what it will look like on Fri when done with that. Rest of the bike is black allready, so maybe i'll have to spray some black over chrome now. Cee baileys has a great dark tint shield if you need one!
Enjoy, great little video also!

Hi Jeff!

Congrats!

I have been very happy using my iphone on the console, in a cradle for both music and navigation apps, both through the Vision sound system or through earbuds. When using the bike/ipod-iphone interface it is cool being able to control the device with the dash and hand controls. The factory FM (futher mucker) radio sounds like sh!t, IMO... don't bother.

Good to see you gave in to your alter ego...

Thanks guys, weather here has been crappy so riding has been limited. Hopefully this weekend I'll get more miles on the Dark Knight.

buddahead - what cradle do you use? Well, actually, that will probably change once I get the 4g iphone next month. Since the dealer is installing the Vic radio himself, maybe we can change the location the antenna for better reception. Any ideas?

Bubba - Haven't had a chance to chat w/Lloyd about that yet. Right now I actually like the quietness of the stock exhaust (but I'll probably get tired of it at some point). I would like to have Lloyd put in his cams. Will have to find out how they work with an otherwise stock system. Gotta be able to hear the radio! Lloyd said he was jealous that I got an 8ball Vision. I think he wants one as well.

The "other perfect bike" is still in my garage, ready to ride. It's a totally different personality and I still enjoy it. I did have to put a towel over it so it couldn't 'see' when I wheeled the new one in. Didn't want it to get upset. :-)
