No, but My air temp is not correct but neither was the air temp gauge on my RoadGlide, that's why I replaced it with a oil temp gauge............

I rented a vision in Vegas a couple of years age and if I recall correctly it read 103. The highest I have seen on mine here in the Great White North was 39C. converts to 102.2F thats freakin hot to our standards. Bike ran well and the heat was ok on the legs.

Saturday in Prescott, bike parked in the sun read 115 deg. And at home in Flagstaff it has been down to 10 deg while riding. I know its not accurate, but is neat to look at and show people.

I've personally seen it read as low as 13F and as high as 114F correctly. Luckly not both in the same day.

I have an 08 and it is pretty accurate after it is moving for a few minutes or it has been off and out of the sun for a few hours. Sun and running at a stand still will both throw accuracy out the window.

My '08 has a problem with temps below 32F. It decides to show negative numbers, as if it were displaying Celsius. I've seen it showing down to -9 or so when it was in the teens. I've seen it up to around 104 or 105 or so.

I've got an 08 and when it gets down around 0 C it starts to go off a bit, but then who really cares because by then you know it's awfly damd cold out.

I've seen 110 on mine on the top end, and of course, the famed -9 when the temp falls below 32 degrees. However, mine has correctly registered to 31 degrees and then fell into the -9 to -3 episode. Mine is only dead accurate when the ambient temp is between 55 to 75 give or take a few degrees. (??)

I've hit 115 in the Florida sun. I'm curious where the sensor is.

The sensor is attached right behind the left mirror when sitting on the bike. If you remove the metal cover there is a black wire from the sensor to a connector right beside the windshield motor..
