| Me and My wife took our first ride to an area with alot of bike riders. I am an Ex- harley rider (sold My heritage last year) and wanted a sportier Bike. My wife wanted Luxury soo never seen Victory but a freind told me bout them. Saw the Vision and Honestly test rode it and fell in love. So we went on this ride and every one looked at us like an alien LOL. It was a little wierd. I have been called George from the Jetsons (Guess it would be easier if they could keep up LOL) I have 4000 on it and have only seen 1 other Vision (cool) So i just want to say HARLEY DIE HARDS GET OVER IT LOL. This Bike is American Designed, Built And Made Be Proud Not Jealous.... Go buy one so You can Keep Up LOL. I run 80 and got 48 mpg. Sorry i cant stop for You LOL. Its to comfortable... Anyone Looking at Me Crazy i will meet you in the next town and we can Talk. I will be in the local Bar drinking a beer Cheers....LOL |

Yep, it's as obvious as mud on a white fence, unless they are looking through Harley Glasses. I have a friend (ultra guy) that I was talking to about the Vics about a year ago, told him I was thinking about a Vision. I was trying to point out all the good stuff people are realizing about the Victory bikes. He couldn't get past a couple negatives and just wouldn't give an inch. I rode over to their house a couple weeks ago and he just stared at the Vision with kind of a blank look on his face and talked about other things. No problem
Then we were over for a party a few days later and He initiated a few comments about how he's been looking at Vics and thinking about making a switch when gets his next bike. ;-)
If they would just take a test ride their eyes would open and their heads would clear of all the crap they've been fed.
Come to think of it a guy on a motorcycle that's always smiling does kinda look like someone from another planet.
All I can say is when you ride and have trouble wiping the smile off your face you have found the right bike. |

Posts: 1158 Richmond, Virginia | Another example of what I have said for years. Fill a bike shop with Harleys and Victorys and remove all the name badges and
I will bet my annual salary that at the end of the season the showroom will be filled with the Harleys and all the Victory's will be sold and out the door. Harley is nothing more then a Name Badge. Its defeated every year in performance reviews, customer satisfaction , reliability
etc etc etc. Just re-affirms my belief that the American public is lazy in that they do what they are told, buy whatever their friends have,
and are more concerned with "impression" then good judgement. We will all be a lot better off if people would start thinking for themselves instead of relying on what other people think . FYI there are more HD clothing stores on the planet then there are HD motorcycle dealerships. Annually they sell more belt buckles, t-shirts, wallets on chains, leather clothing with tassles, beer cozies, license plate surrounds, thongs, bras, purses, sunglasses, dog collars, THEN THEY DO MOTORCYCLES !!! ... if only Victory would sell this stuff ha ha ha ha ha ha NOT. |

It can be a real hoot. The hardest part is getting away from it before the crowd shows up and starts asking all the questions. |

At a light I laugh today at my wife, she saw a crouch rocket and said "that looks uncomfortable." an HD pulls up behind him and I'm watching all the vibration through His arms and I comment, and so is that. She just shakes her head not understanding what it is about all that. I told her the HD guy paid $30,000 for his vibration. |

| Bottom line, until the HD glasses come off, there's not alot of convincing them that the vics are good bikes and worth looking at, while at a test ride event, I asked a guy that came in on a '09 Road King what he thought of the Vision he just rode, he said nice but not enough power, I looked at his bike and asked what he had done to his figuring he had dumped alot of $$ bumping it up, he told me "it's a 96"........ Got the same "not enough power"response from a friend on an 88" Street Glide. |

Posts: 111 Salina, KS | tralphaz....my buddy (Ultra) said the same thing after taking a test ride. The next day he had his bike dyno'd at the dealer & came back with a whopping 72 hp / 85 ft. lbs. torque. Keep in mind it's an '09 Ultra with the 103" kit minus cams. I tried to explain that he was likely used to the low-end grunt of the H-D while the Vision just keeps pulling. This was reaffirmed as he pulled up beside me running 70mph & gassed on it....I quickly overtook him riding 2-up while he was solo. He did admit that it was the nicest bike he'd ever ridden, but can't get past the looks. |
