Posts: 103 Davenport, IA | I am a new Vision rider. Recently purchased a black 09 street premium back in March. This is my first post, but have been reading everyone else's for the last two months. Thought I would break the ice and let everyone know how I am enjoying my new ride. I now consider myself a part of your family! First off, I've been riding again for 6 years. Never been a Harley guy and wanted to be different, but loyal to Honda's. Had a Honda VTX 1300S for those 6 years and never thought I would get off it until I started looking at Victory's. First, wanted the new Cross Country but didn't fit me right as I am 5'8" plus didn't cut the wind like I thought. Never even considered the Vision until I sat on one, then test rode. Wow! It was different! Needless to say, I bought one. I now have over 3,000 mi. on it and have enjoyed every mile. Returned home from a 1,400 mile ride to the Smokies two weeks ago and really convinced me I made the right choice! The ride, handling, comfort and power is simply amazing! Not to mention, all the attention my new ride gets. During by trip, I did encounter two other Visions. The second Vision passed our group heading back to Paducah, KY. That was pretty cool. So far, no problems and has been flawless. The Harley guys even stop, look, and most comments are great! And yes, I have been called "Captain America", "George Jetson", Batman, Ultraman, Starship rider and so on. I take it all in fun, afterall, I am the one getting all the attention! Every time I throw my leg over the seat, it amazes me! I'm lovin it! |

As for the attention, I found that if I stop to use the cell phone I have to walk away from the bike to keep from being interrupted. While hearing the comments has it's own appeal, it's really interesting to stand back and watch people as they stop to look it over. |
