Posts: 394 Tucson, AZ | I noticed that I have dried condensation on the inside of my head light. Question. If I don't do anything, will it eventually short out the bulbs? Of course my bike being an '08, it's out of warranty. Would I have any recourse with my dealer. Just an aside, I have a super dealer, Cochise Motor Sports, in Sierra Vista AZ. |

Yes. And I'm speaking from experience. Of course, I'm in a colder climate, so that may have facilitated the demise, but the cracks will eventually get bigger you will start to get water pooling in the bottom. First thing to go will be the driving light (around $280...) then it will kill the left headlight bulb. |

Posts: 311 Atlanta Area | Polaristar is no longer replacing headlights. They now consider them a wear item... If your still under the first year Vic warranty you may be ok...
BTW, I think it's complete chicken shit that they are no longer replacing these obviously defective headlights.... |

Posts: 394 Tucson, AZ | The warranty ran out in November and I opted not to buy the extended warranty because I had not one problem with the bike for the first year. I guess I'll be at the mercy of my dealer on this one. I will say this, if there is a way they can figure a fix, they will do it. They are super people. |

There is already a prescedent set. I haven't dealt with polaristar, but from what I've read on this site they are way worse than the Harley extended coverage program. I'm waiting for someone to sue them................. |
