I'm considering the Victory Leather Seat and wondering if anyone that has the seat would mind commenting on it...or any other seat changes / adjustments that you've been happy with.

Thanks!

Things may have changed over the years but when Tom owned his Corbin leather seat the rain would get through the stitching holes and the foam would take 3 days to dry. Something to consider.

If your talking about the Victory Leather Seat for the Vision, Then I can answer to it.

It's made by Saddlemens - so I have heard. It is a little stiffer then the stock. To me the stock seat was a little soft and had a lip or bump or ridge along the back that usually after a really long day would bother my tailbone. When I would get off of the stock seat I still hurt for a while. With the leather seat I may hurt a little at the end of a long day on the bike - but not when I get off. The Vic Leather seat does not have the lip, bump or ridge in it...

Also the stock seat on hot days - swamp butt. No as much with the Leather seat... The leather seat stays cooler in the sun then the stock seat. I did not believe that it would (advertising) but I was wrong - the seat is much cooler then the backrest on the trunk...

The leather seat also comes with a backrest and the mounting plate is already installed into the seat. These are separate items for the 2010 seats.

I feel like it did move me forward a little but it does have great lower back support.

Would I do it again? YES - on sale or discounted! or from Maxim Powersports or Surdykes Motorsports - both will give a 20% discount...

The Victory leather seat is not heated. They also did not heat the Ness Vision seat that for 08 - 09 was leather. The 2010 Ness seat is not leather. I believe they think that heat will damage the leather long term - At least that is what I am guessing.

I manufacture a vision seat that is made of memory foam.. it is way more comfortable than the stock seat. It also lowers the seat height around 1". It can be covered in any type of leather or vinyl.

I've got about 2000 miles on the Victory solo seat now and it's been much better than stock Kingpin or Stock Vegas seat. Probably not the best seat that I've ever ridden, but does OK. Can't find a reasonably priced Corbin to try and don't like the idea of a Mustang seat that doesn't fit the bike - big gaps, why do they do this???

+1, I'm interested too. I had a Corbin seat on the Vic for 1 week, then sold it. Do you use the existing seat pan?

We do use the existing seat/ we modify the foam. Replace it with memory foam. It allows the seat to be dropped in ride height ( 1 to 1.5 inches) without loosing any comfort, or shape of the seat. My girl rides on the back and she says it is more comfortable than the stock. We can cover it in any type of leather or vinyl. We also offer a hot rod version that we add spider webs or pin stripe stitching that is sewn in.

We will have our web-store opening soon( should be oct -HMD520.COM) Our store will offer many specialty one off products for visions. Fenders , lowering kits, air ride, blacked out turn signals ,tail lites, air ride suspension, lay down license brackets, and more..
If you want pics or need to talk further about the seat please email me at ( hmd520@yahoo.com)

We have cores available... so if you dont want to send you seat in to be custom built, we can charge you a core charge. When you return your seat to use , we will gladly issue you a refund for the core.Feel free to email me and i will send some pics of the seat. HMD520@yahoo.com

I've put about 30K on the Vision Leather seat, 08 Vision - it is not heated - no real need for it, I live in New England ride in some cold temps, use the heated griprs but have never needed the heated seat - I still have the Premium Tour heated seat if I ever needed one, easy to exchange the seat on the Vision - The Leather seat comes with the drivers back rest, it is a little stiffer than the factory, which I like, leather breaths and makes all the differance on hot days - I'm 6'5" 265 - without a doubt it is one of the best seats I have ever used, quality is excellant - I do very little if any "short runs" - my normal ride / trip is 250 miles, most with two up - always arrive comfortable / rested - Great seat choice, always surpirsed that I do not see more of them out there........

Yes I had the original heat seat for my 10th... I may put it back on for the winter... We will see.

I switched over to the Leather seat because it is cooler in the summer (yes - I know I thought it was poppycock too - but it is true). It is a little stiffer and I did not like the little ridge or bump up in the rear of the seat (bottom section of the rider's seat. Funny how they got rid of that on the 2010 and up...
