Posts: 10 Central Kentucky | I use the Bushtec hitch it costs more money and requires a lot more work to install. The Bushtec hitch has several connection points to the frame, which makes me think it distributes the load better than the Hitch Doc hitch. |

Posts: 309 Vineland, NJ United States | I am not saying HitchDoc is "best" but I have an O8 Vision and have had a hitch doc hitch on it for over 9,000 miles and I pull a Uni-Go trailer. I'm not saying the installation is easy but I am an office worker and my wife is a school teacher and the two of us put the hitch on in my garage in about 2 hrs. It actually takes a lot less time, but I didn't know what I was doing so it took me longer. I live in NJ and have towed my trailer to Conn., Tenn, Virginia, Pocono Mts., etc. I have never had a problem and frequently look back to make sure it is still there. Also, what I like about Hitch Doc, when I'm not pulling the trailer, the hitch is invisible unless you lay down on the ground. The hardest part of the whole job was tapping into the bikes wiring harness to wire the plug for the trailer lights. Good Luck, ED |

| I was told installing a trailer hitch would void my warranty.
I make several long distance rides each year and with the amount of storage space I have, which isn't near enough for two people, I need to pull a trailer. I have a bushtec trailer already.

I'm planning to put a Hitch Doc on my VV this fall.

Like to know who told you that the warranty would be void with a trailer hitch installed. If anyone associated with any dealer made a statement like this they are very very misinformed. |
