Posts: 366 Albuquerque, NM | 6mm x 3/4" long I believe. Found chrome ones @ Ace True Value with the allen head. These screws should be locktited. Maybe them loosening up is part of the problem causing the lowers to crack.

Posts: 366 Albuquerque, NM | The screws on my lowers have chrome hex heads. Just metal screws huh.... I think you talked to the "Jethro" of Ace salesmen. I post the part number later this evening. |

take one of the other screws and go to either Home Depot, Lowes, Advance Auto, Auto Zone, Pep Boys, NAPA, Pleasant Hardware, Ace Hardware, True Value Hardware, or Southern Screw and get one that looks like it! When it comes to this stuff, it is too common and no, I do not expect a Victory Dealer to stock any of this. It hard enough to get them to keep things that sell, like tires, air filters and rubber kickstand pads. |
