Posts: 36 coweta ok | what's a good lift to buy just to get the vision off the floor to clean tires? I've got a couple of those harbor freight lifts but they seem to not fit to wel, any suggestions, sears have anything that would fit. Thanks |

| I've got the Sears red lift. It works fine for my XC. I would think the underside of the Vision would be the same since it's the same engine. I'm sure others will chime in.

Posts: 499 Chattanooga, TN | I also use the red sears model when I absolutely have to have it on a lift, however I can't seem to balance the bike properly. Even with the lift at the furthermost rear position under the motor in front of the oil filter, it leans to the rear and only the front tire will come up off the ground. Otherwise, I chase it down the driveway to clean my Rath Billet wheels. |

...except I use a small wood piece on both sides. once you lift it past the lock notches and then let it down, it will level out. |

Very few are gonna gin up production of anything that's model specific for a Vision. There's 6 or 7 lifts designed for Harley baggers..........Hopefully this will change as more Visions are sold..... |

My Sears Jack does everything I need it to do.. if they made one just for a vision you can bet the price tag would be many more times what it is for one now.. I bought my Sears Jack for $79. |

Posts: 741 Central New York | I also use the harbor freight Jack (yellow one). I line the front cross-member of the jack so it catches the 2 aluminum nubs that hang down. That seems to give a nice wide side-to-side stance. Front to back seems well balanced also. However, I do not have a trunk installed and I make sure the saddlebags are empty.
