Posts: 160 Lennox, SD | I was wondering that also. I wish there was a way to search members by location.
You could maybe find local people to ride with. |

Posts: 70 Fryeburg ME | I think I am stuck in the + / - 3.5% but I'm told I'm above average by some. then there are others that just call me a douche bag. Steve put your location in your signature and if you are within 1,000 miles of me i'll come ride with you. hope to see a lot of you in August at the rally in NH. |

Posts: 77 Virginia Beach, Virginia | I will be a Vision owner as of tomorrow-picking up a 2008 Tour Premium in Grey in Raleigh, with all the fixins! Now I gotta sell my 2002 K1200LT and my 2007 K1200GT, so if you know anyone who wants to become a German Knight, send them my way! I have been drooling over the Vision for a year and didn't buy one because it did not have ABS. SO it gets ABS in 2010 but I am too cheap, so I buy a 2008 without. I guess I will have to learn how to brake like normal people. Maybe I will get a 2011 if I completely and inexorably fall in love! |

Posts: 2118 Pitt Meadows, BC Canada | OK - here's the summary so far:
- Youngest - divesharc at 31 Oldest - pastor at 71 So, anywhere from 31 to 71
Thirtysomethings: 6
Fortyish liars: 15 (six at 59 - fudging I bet.... )
Fiftyish gentlemen: 11
Sixtyish old farts (including me at 66) : 5
And "pastor""
Conclusion: Ya gotta have taste and money. Or a taste for money. Or just taste and a rich co-pilot (me....) |

Fountain Inn, SC United States | I think mkultra, VisionTex and Radioteacher came pretty close. The network of rider sites (Vision-Riders, Hammer-Riders, Kingpin, Cross, etc) sees about 70-90 new members each month. By shear activity, I'd guess about 75% of those are Vision owners. Given that Vision-Riders is the busiest site and has been around the longest, I would estimate it holds 95% of the 2416 registered members (as of 8/25, 8:00 AM ET) - or 2295 of you.
While I've never been given hard numbers, I'd estimate to date there have been ~17000 Visions made which would mean our membership accounts for about 1 in 7.
So, it looks like we have some marketing to do!
I'm sure you all have opinions on how to spread the word about Vision-Riders.com.... |

I like that idea! I'll investigate. |
