| I was wondering if its possible to tighten the upper wind deflectors...
My left side wind deflector starts to turn its self into the wind at 70 mph, and the right one does it at 100.
I am not so worried about the right one but it would be nice if the left one stayed put past 70... Has anyone tightened theirs? |

Posts: 156 dinwiddie, va | to tighten because wind is moving it from the position you put it in don't tighten torx screws on deflector itself. If you pull the front valance off and look down in the at the area of the deflector. you might have to a bulb socket out to reach it. With a torx bit swivel extension and 1/4'' ratchet. Tighten the torx bits on the top side of deflector. Tightening these actually put tension on the pivot mount, and put tension on it so it won't rotae from wind |
