Posts: 3006 San Antonio, TX | Tomorrow I will driving my Chevy Trailblazer to Caliente Harley in San Antonio to play guitar with a local band. I am going to be playing about six songs at the end of the second set.
The leader of the band lives near me and asked me to join them on stage for a few songs. I was flattered and accepted his kind offer.
I only wish I could get all of my gear there on my Vision. Two guitars, an amplifier and the other accessories required are just a bit much to load on the back seat. Too bad. It would have been nice to roll up there on the Vision and play.
I just had a thought. Maybe I could get the band leader to take my equipment.

Fountain Inn, SC United States | Rock on Paul! Definitely wear your Victory shirt.
I too have wondered how to at least carry my bass guitar around on the Dark Knight.
Need to devise a sling for the bike like a rifle holder on a 4 wheeler. The amp is a different animal. I'll need a trailer for that. Hmmm, imagine if I just added wheels and a tow tongue to the amp! |

Posts: 192 Republic of Tejas | Kick A$$ Paul!!!!! Weird, I just got home from music shop with new strings for my Strat. Of course my playing is reserved for the back yard and hood dogs.
Got an SRV solo in the repretoire?????

Posts: 3006 San Antonio, TX | I wore a shirt from the 2008 Rivercity Rally and blue jeans. Took the Victory hat with me but wore the ventilated Under Armor hat since it was 95+ degrees at 3:00 PM.
My left hand was sweating so bad that was sticking to the neck of the guitar. Later, I will post some videos and embed them to this thread.
While waiting for the rest of the band to show up I checked out every bike in the dealership. I like the Softail Custom but they dropped it from the 2011's. The sales guy that approached me just did not get the idea that "No, I do not want to sell my Vision for a Harley, any Harley"

I could have used you as a camera man! I will email the San Antonio list if I ever do that again.
