For those who have put Grip Puppies on their Vision, do the heated grips still provide heat to your hands through the Grip Puppies? Also what size Grip Puppies did you purchase for the Vision?

I contacted the dealer in Ca. and he sent me the right size for the Vision. You can still feel some heat, but I take the puppies off when the colder weather gets here. They save the wear and tear on the stock grips.

the Little amount of heat is worth the trade off for better grip, comfort, & preservation of stock grips
It reminds me of why I put a steering cover on all of my cars!

After starting to experience some wrist pain which led to my hands falling asleep while riding I bought the Grip Puppies and had a heck of a time getting the small size on. Can not imagine being able to get them back off in the winter. What size are others using?

Love the feel.

I ordered them and couldn't get them to fit. Wasn't aware that they came in different sizes. Will check their website again.

After checking the website, I did order the size that fits Goldwings and NO I couldn't get them to 'slip' over my OEM grips using soapy water as per the instructions.

Grip Puppies from http://www.casporttouring.com/optimizer/product/GPSMALL.html

I am using the small size. On first attempt to install I thought there was no way. Left them soak in warm water and then just poured dish soap in them and squeezed and pushed until finally they were on. At first I decided to leave the length alone, but quickly found that they were snug enough on the end weights that I had a second cruise control.

Grip puppies... or similar type grips still allow the heated grip to work. Slip them on using hair spray instead of soap and water... they slip on easier and once dry do not move.
