I guess it will work, I got the one from sears a few years ago for around $79.00, looks a lot alike except the sears one is red. You need to use small wooden wedges to stablize the bike when it is lifted though. It's okay without but it rocks a little, and with the trunk on, it is heavier in the tail making it a little awkward to lift. Once you lift it up, lock it where you want it and it levels out, at least mine does.

I agree. You have to be a little careful lifting at first from the ground. More difficult with the trunk on additional weight on the rear makes balancing tricky.

I tried the sears lift but I was just not comfortable putting a 20K motorcycle on something that wobbled as much as my bike did even with the shims. I am thinking of getting a table/nd have been looking at the Harbor freight one but I don?t know if it will hold a vision. Here is the link: http://www.harborfreight.com/1000-lb-capacity-motorcycle-lift-91764... has anyone tried this one?

The table lift they have ,I looked at one of these back when I owned a Drifter. It was not long enough. I do not remember the length of that one. Should be something to look at. The description does not say if the length includes the folding ramp. I use the Sears jack with some spacers. I just use the jack to spin the bike around for parking in my shop...ride in / ride out

I have a J&S Jack (www.JSJacks.com). You do have a put a small rubber shim on the lift, but mine is rock solid 2+ ft in the air.

I got the Harbor Freight Lift and it works great, very stable, easy to use, and reliable so far. I have a Street. I do not know the weight of a tour trunk so I cannot attest to how stable a Tour would be. I don't use any blocks or wedges. I just align the front jack crossbar under the 2 aluminum triangles that hang down just aft of the floorboard mounts.

I bought this table lift but replaced the cheap tire vise with one of their wheel chocks. This allows you to push the bike in and it stays upright while you get off and strap it down. If you use the 20% off coupon the table is very affordable.
The wheel chock sale price was 29.95. Seems like my total for this set-uo was just over $300. Works great!!!!!!!!

Sure do. It sits on it all winter.

Put edge of pad just in front of crossover pipe, lifts it up level front to rear.

thank you 09ness#163 for the post. I was thinking the same thing. I have a wheel chuck I use on my trailer ( only a couple times in 3 years) that I would put on the lift. My only worry was if it would be wobbly but it looks like it would work fine.

Hi, Magic I have that same lift and use it on my Tour Pre. It works great. When you line it up, put the jack where the front just meet the engine conectors to frame, let those rest on the front rail of the lift. Do not use wood or anything else it works fine without it. The use of objects in conjuction with the jack makes it less stable. Also if possible put it in the nonkickstand side so you can put the kickstand down when lowering it helps for safety. Dain

Air powered table lift is the only way to go , in my opinion. I purchased this, www.PremiumBikeLifts.com and have been very happy. Also purchased the wings for it for quads etc. Serviced my buddy's Polaris Razor on it last month, almost 1000 lbs. I like the security and not having to lay down anymore . I'm not a young man anymore!!!!! You get what you pay for .....
