Richmond, Virginia | Friday night a buddy and I were on the bikes headed out to a local BBQ joint to get some dinner.
Awesome weather, great ride. When we pulled into the shopping center where the restuarant was
(its one of those buildings that stands alone in the center of the parking lot), we both slowed down to a stop to wait for a vehicle backing out of a motorcycle primo parking space (visible from inside the restuarant). While we sat there, another car in another spot started backing out into the huge parking lot and spotted the bikes in the corner of his eye. Well, instead of stopping his vehicle and staring at the bike, he kept backing up while looking. He rammed his nice mustang GT smack dab into the huge
concrete cylinder that holds up the parking lot street lights. Even with my engine running and my full face helmet on, we heard SLAM !!! Poor guy hit the concrete so hard it tore up his bumber and even went into his rear hatch back portion. Granted I did nothing wrong, but i still sort of felt bad........... sort of............. . Now im wondering if they wrote an article about 2ndary accidents in the news paper would the title read VISION IMPAIRED ????
