Posts: 143 Birmingham, AL 08 MC Tour Premium 2012 Bronze Mist | I have a new noise coming from the suspension that just started and it's driving me NUTS. Watch the video and give me an educated (or not) guess.
Thanks!

Posts: 244 Tucson , AZ | You need to lubricate the suspension. there is a bushing somewheres that is dry.. that would be my guess. It could be the dog bone link, or evern the swing arm.. but its definetly metal on metal... so i would say a dry bushing. |

You can see very clearly in the illustration for the rear suspension what requires periodic lubrication. Good luck. |

Posts: 143 Birmingham, AL 08 MC Tour Premium 2012 Bronze Mist | Thanks for the replies. I did replace the dog bone with one I ordered that has the threaded rod to lower the bike. I don't recall lubricating the bolt when I installed it. I guess that's the most likely candidate but I'll take the back end apart and lube everything. Gotta get ready for prime riding time!! |
